The Life of a Smartphone

Smartphones from companies such as Apple, Samsung, Nokia or HTC are among the most popular consumer and lifestyle products today. However, a whole series of problems occur during the global production process, ranging from bad working conditions to environmental pollution.

This five minute video from Germany non-profit /e-politik.de/ gives an interesting look at the production of raw materials through to processing, distribution, usage and disposal- and what problems occur in each phase.
